Our Purpose & Reason

for Being

The Church is not a building or a hierarchy . The church is not dogma or doctrine or even a history. The church is not about religion - the rules and regulations that govern who is "in" and who is "out." The Church is nothing more or less than the gathering of God's people to hear God's word, to celebrate the unique ways that God interacts with us - we call those special ways the "means of grace" (the sacraments of Holy Communion and Baptism) and to be inspired to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the places that God has placed us.

At Resurrection, we believe that the people of God are called to interact in the world in the same way that God interacts with us. We do that at Resurrection through the different ministries that happen all around our campus and through the efforts of people just like you. Each of these ministries help us to continue to grow in our Christian discipleship, strengthen us for the daily walk of faith and touch the lives of those who do not know the love of God in their lives.

All of our ministries and missions revolve & rally around out mission statement:
